"Mother of Presidents"

American history has close ties with Virginia; Jamestown (the first permanent English settlement in North America) was founded in this state in 1607. Also, both the American Revolution and Civil War ended in Virginia. Shaped by Blue Ridge Mountains and the Chesapeake Bay, Virginia is an ever-growing state, with a multitude of opportunities. Today, the service sector provides 1/3 of all the jobs in state. Fun fact: eight U.S. Presidents were born in Virginia.
