Construction Manager


Kurt is responsible for overseeing, coordination and management of various aspects of property assessments, programming, design, and construction, for HallKeen Management. Kurt has over 20 years in the design and construction field with varying roles, from project architect, site superintendent, construction project manager and owner's representative. He has worked on numerous building types from Hospitality, Retail, Data Centers, Senior Living Communities, Multi Family, Higher Education, Libraries, Life Sciences, and Medical and Institutional facilities.

Understanding the process and all participant's roles and responsibilities is critical in making sure that all team members are providing the required project needs and information in a timely manner. Paying attention to detail and being proactive has proven to be extremely beneficial to HallKeen Management, in seeing that schedules are met and costs are kept within the project budget. Kurt performs design reviews, cost analysis, and phasing & logistics considerations to confirm that construction documents are thorough, well-coordinated and free of gaps.

In 1992 Kurt graduated from the Boston Architectural Center where he earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree. In 1994 he passed the architectural licensing exam and is now a licensed architect in MA, ME, NH, RI and PA; in 2008 he obtained his Accredited Professional designation with LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). Kurt is also a member of NCARB, USGBC, AIA and the Boston Society of Architects.
