HallKeen Management, Inc. is a real estate management company with a diversified portfolio of multi-family properties including subsidized and mixed-income housing, non-subsidized affordable housing, conventional apartment buildings, condominiums, and cooperatives. While retaining prime focus in affordable housing, HallKeen strives to provide high-quality property management services for a variety of communities.
HallKeen Management’s current residential portfolio includes over 4,500 apartments and condominiums. Though a number of HallKeen properties are located throughout the Greater Boston area, HallKeen has a strong presence throughout all of New England, spanning from Winooski, VT to North Adams, MA; Berlin, NH to Danbury, CT; Portland, ME to Kingston, RI.
HallKeen Management’s clients include private owners, community development corporations, and condominium and cooperative boards. HallKeen also manages approximately 2,500 apartments and condominiums in which HallKeen has an investment. From both perspectives, as manager of third party contracts, and as manager of our own portfolio, we understand the importance of meeting our clients’ goals and objectives.
We believe that the best property management is local management. However, maintaining consistent across-the-board standards and policies is crucial for efficiency and accountability. Therefore, we maintain a careful balance between structure and empowerment – encouraging and fostering an entrepreneurial attitude in our on-site staff, providing ongoing training and supervision and developing company-wide systems for the delivery of our services.
Site based property managers and maintenance crews oversee the day-to-day operations under the guidance of regional and senior managers. The central office team located in Norwood, Massachusetts provides overall portfolio oversight and support services.
