During the week of November 26 – 30, staff, residents and volunteers at Heywood Wakefield Commons turned their community into a winter wonderland!
Several residents came out for the “picture wrapping” activity on Monday, at which the pictures hanging on the walls throughout the common areas were wrapped
to look like holiday gifts. Then on Wednesday, the tradition of decorating our Lounge Christmas tree continued.
Ornaments the residents had created back in July now grace that tree. The decorating was completed just in time for our annual Holiday Open House on Saturday December 1st. This event gave residents and staff and our families an opportunity to get to know one another as we enjoyed fabulous food from our kitchen and entertainment by Honky Tonk pianist, Gary Landgren. What a great start to the holiday season!
