"Guess Who" game at Brigham House

Wednesday, September 26, 2018

The residents at Brigham House enjoyed reminiscing with their peers over old photographs of themselves and each other by playing a “Guess Who” game to figure out who was who!

Each person was given a piece of paper with a list of all the residents on the board. They had to fill in the correct person with their corresponding number. After everyone was done with their paper, they were collected and we went through the photos as a group.

Thelma Carter had always felt her sister was “the beautiful one” in the family. Although after reflecting back on her photo, and seeing it for the first time in decades she saw how stunning she was, too. She was very bashful receiving so many compliments from her peers. Her daughter also mentioned the photographer who took the photo tried to romantically pursue Thelma, which caused a giggle.

Elbis Andonian’s photo was taken of her in her classroom; she still identifies as a teacher so it was interesting for her fellow residents to see her in her element. She spoke about how the rowdy teenagers she taught made her "tough" and that she used to play pranks on her students.

Dominick D'Agostino is a proud veteran; he wears his Army hat and pin every day. He shared his stories of being a paratrooper. The ladies were swooning over him!

Everyone had such a wonderful time reflecting on old memories, and a bag of goodies was given to the person who matched the most people.
